“A View of Aroma”
coffee, fresh coffee, first coffee
in several days
wafted
through the fog of air travel, foreign
languages, smiles from
strangers
and lifted our eyes to
the amazing
beauty
of Paris

i need my coffee everyday to crack my eyes open…smiles….funny there is a starbucks in paris…i guess its everywhere though….i will take a Pikes, black…and on a really rough day, a Komodo red eye
a komodo red eye! wow
here, in paris, getting a good drip cup of coffee’s a bit of a challenge, mostly christmas blend, which tastes good, but any other flavor’s gotta be expresso-style it seems
they are pretty good ’bout selling the beans and grounding them fresh to make at home (thankfully
)
there’s quite a few starbucks here, packed with people constantly, though mostly kids from the sorbonne i think in our area, but they’ve all been crowded; good folks running the counters so far, usually one with a good handle on english too!
yeah, coffee’s our morning necessity, more than breakfast sometimes
Enjoy, LOve that you both are living the dream,Donna Sheppard
thank you so much donna, we’re certainly trying
it’s both a challenge and fun
we’ll be posting more here and there as we get pics etc
