A serialized photo-memoir of my wife Sheila and I’s 5 and 1/2 week trip to Paris from early November through mid-December. We captured the last bits of Fall, right into the holidays in the City of Light.

Expanding availability of the whole series of images for each day is best enjoyed, we believe, via a subscription program, though each book is also available via the regular store.

All links are non-affiliate, meaning the links are chosen only because we feel they add to the enjoyment of the book, providing more information and images.

Clicking on the series name on the Amazon description page, will take one to the series page, with updates to all current volumes. Several new editions of various other days are in-progress.

A few original signed images of Paris are also available on Amazon Marketplace.

Plus several novellas and short stories set in Paris are also completed.

Discovering Paris was a daily adventure.

We hope you’ll enjoy these daily excursions inside of Paris as much as we did.

Sincerely,

Adan & Sheila

Intro

I think I’ve finally begun to get a rhythm of these photo-memoirs from our trip to Paris.

With the images at hand I want to present, I have the true pleasure of remembering the paths Sheila and I took getting from one place to the other, recognizing the connections and links from place to place that, even at this time in our trip, late in the first week, we had barely an inkling of.

Much of the information I present in the short commentaries, is blessed with much hindsight.

5 1/2 weeks in Paris will do that. 😉

Of several favorite small streets in Paris, the Rue Saint-Andre des Arts, being so close to where we stayed, presented us a seeming endless variety of reasons to want to return to it, among them :

Proximity, on its western end, to two food stores, a large Carrefour, and Picard.

Restaurants of all sizes and types.

Interesting places to simply get a beer or other drink.

Visual interests abounding in the old buildings and the Christmas lightings.

Conclusion

Paris, in our sixth day in the city, seemed to have spent itself showing us how rich in interest it was.

And yet, it had only begun!

My next ebook deals with our trying to find the Eiffel Tower, via walking, and then being there. 😉

Conclusion

It was about this time into our trip, almost a week, we began to realize how much more there was going to be to enjoy and learn about in Paris.

We still had another month on our visit, and already we could tell it was not going to be a problem finding things and places to explore. 😉

Next day we returned to this other area near Notre Dame, I feature images and links for Square René Vivian and St Severin Area.

If one walks east on the Rue Saint-Andre des Arts featured above, the street eventually narrows even more, then finishes at Place St Michel. If you cut either behind or in front of the big fountain there, and cross Blvd Saint-Michel, you’re in the St Severin, or Latin Quarter, area.

If you dont’ stop at half a dozen places along the way and save the other side of the boulevard for another day. 😉

this was a grand grand little street with so much to see and do, it’s amazing

catty-corner from that flower shop is a neat bar, Les Etages sheila and i liked, great view from under the heated awning down, and the windows on the upper floors, https://plus.google.com/116474446842520091318/about?gl=us&hl=en
