Linked to dVersePoets OpenLinkNight # 121, hosted by Grace

Grace, hosting dVersePoets’ OpenLinkNight has a nice prompt bringing in this past weekend’s time change.

“One hour.  What difference does this mean to your writing ?  Are you able to write productively in terms of quantity and quality?  Or are you one of those who write better under pressure specially with the time constraints ?”

Pretty apropos since for a bit I’m doing a full time temp job and, with travel time and a few sips of coffee in the morning, time is at a premium indeed 😉

Since I’m featuring a PhotoPoem book this week, using Amazon’s new Kindle Countdown Deal feature for books enrolled in their Select program, I’m of course using two samples from the book as my dVersePoet contribution.

Hope you are enjoying the time change.  Thanks so much 🙂

New, Related to Poetry in Fiction Series

I’ve been doing a poetry in fiction series, where I take a fiction excerpt from one of my short stories or novellas, and see how it might work as poetry.

In this version, I already had a poem, and a paired image, from a book I have, entitled, “PhotoPoems Book One.”

Actually, I’ve chosen to show two. 😉

They poems are simple meditative verses, meant to compliment and enhance the image.

Hope you’ll enjoy them,

Best wishes,

Adan

    1. Photo’d then used filters to create the painted effect in one, and clearer lines on the other, much fun 😉

  5. nice…i like the first one how the light bounces off everything within you life…that light of understanding…as to the path, it is better to have a path…at times we may have to forge our own…but if we can follow one that has done it, all the better…smiles.

    hope you are well adan…

    1. such a great way to see that small piece, thanks so much brian! yeah, it’s funny how sometimes i think i’m on a path, find i’m wandering about, and it’s good to spot someone else’s trail for awhile, i think dverse helps provide that many a time 🙂
