Until the World Hears

Regina Puckett

 

Every now and then, I want to call it quits

Every so often, I want to have kicking fits

Every once in a blue moon, I want to scream

Every once in a while, I want to not dream

But then, who would notice if I did any of that

In this world, I’m nothing more than an annoying gnat

So I’m going to continue chip, chip, chipping away

Until the rest of the world hears what I have to say
