Happy 4th of July 2019! 🇺🇸

Be Safe – Be Free! 😊

Just a short post to celebrate our nation’s birthday!

Plus am posting a few of the poster sayings I’ve created over the years.

In each one I tried finding the kernel of what I wanted to say, without specifying an event or specific reason, wanting to find the basic truth most people could agree on —

— and from there, find common cause for conversation 😊

About this image, Fourth of July

This was taken the 4th of July a few years back at a Willie Nelson concert at CODA (Circuit of the Americas) here in Austin. Our youngest girl was working there and my wife and I joined some of her friends plus her husband and the youngest grandchild.

The music was of course fabulous and the night was a perfect temperature. Not hot, not muggy. Hard to ask for much more in Central Texas round the middle of summer 😊

My Amazon affiliate marketing highlights for this post 😊

Here’s a short story I wrote I have available @Amazon in mind to highlight the holiday, “Love Before the Fourth of July (Adan’s Galveston Texas Books)”, that I believe represents the core of our nation — the ability to live our lives and focus on those people most important in our lives, whether they be family or friends or strangers.

Multi-generational, in turns sweet, exciting, and funny, it’s the kind of story I like writing best, filled with grownups and children of varying ages, each with their own unique perspective 😊

And here’s my pick from Amazon’s other selection of products for this post – The Declaration of Independence 🇺🇸 in full size parchment reproduction. Very nice 😊
