Summer Art Reception Fun at Art for the People Gallery Austin 😊

Lynnie Goodman, Director/Curator of Art for the People, and me at last night’s art reception!
The walking figure painting to my left, “Cobblestone Path Home” is mine 😊

This was early on, by the time we left it was standing room only! 😊

Eclectic and fun, filled with color and innovation – including Robot Art! – Art For The People is just south of Lady Bird Lake on South 1st. There’s also a “very” tasty Italian ice cream shop next door! So if you’re anywhere near the center of Austin, which is anything near the lake 😊 then this is a visual delight not to miss!

This is an art product I’ve bought and use from Amazon. The adjustable light intensity feature is particularly nice, as is the adjustable long neck. I’ve often found it useful to raise or lower the light itself to help with focus depending on the size of canvas.
