I’m STILL Learning About Pinterest, slowly, lol! – But Here’s a FREE Book!

Quick Guide to WordPress and Pinterest by Gazella D.S. Pistorious was still well worth my free purchase despite it’s 2012 publication date and 40 page length! 😊

Yes, I know. Social media books seven years old are at least one ice age away from today, lol! But, this is out-of-date differently —

The difference is most of the enhancements using Pinterest with WordPress are now part of WordPress!

Like, being able to share an image directly to Pinterest from one’s blog page among many others. Now I’m looking for the little red icon I can click to post my image through to Pinterest with 😊

Or, like making sure if I’ve included the link in the image description back to my blog page. This way a Pinterest viewer can click on the image to take them to my post – nice!

And luckily, also thanks to this little book, I learned, I can edit my images directly on Pinterest to include what info I want or need included – very nice!

In this example I’ve added the text underlined in red directly on Pinterest. Probably not something I’d do each time, and probably a way to do all this an easier way – but nice to know there’s a way if and when needed 😊

So my recommendation is, if you’re a Pinterest user, but a user-beginner like me, and, since there were things I wasn’t even aware of, or up to date on myself, is – esp since it’s free! – grab a copy, and see what you already know and what you might not had thought was possible just with you already have in today’s WordPress blog. I was kinda amazed!

And if you do know “way” more than this book, maybe you could write a small book, or blog post, and let us know – post it in the comments! Limit one link per person please 😊 Plus, family friendly & non-political!

    • That’s what I did, lol! The book is so old – social media clock time 😊 – and so short, it’s easy enough to get to once you’re ready. Plus, a lot of the pointers are things you’ll probably recognize are part of what you can do directly in reg (ie, non-business) WP – that’s one of the main things I liked 😊
