Delivered My Art! 😊

Sheila & I took Max our 6 yr old grandson and, oh yeah, my painting to Jerry’s Artarama for this year’s US Veterans Art Show. I detail a little of the trip there (an adventure in itself) in a recent post 😊

My art is the top left image, blue w/a canoe, Barton Springs Autumn Austin.

Max of course is the trooper, shown here helping out ❤️

Jerry’s is a great cascade of art supplies and sales. A hard combo to beat!

If you’re in Austin anytime now through very early November, this show – from what I saw arriving from fellow vets, is another doozy! 😊

Promoter & Contact Info

Robb McKenzie is the art show promoter and has worked hard to get vets shows in the Austin area for many years, several of which I’ve been fortunate to have participate in 😊

He’s set up a Facebook announcement page at – https://www.facebook.com/Veterans-Art-Exhibition-255373734989432/ .

And can also be reached at – vetsforart@gmail.com .

I hope you can make it by, or share this info with anyone who might be interested.

From the top image you can see there’s a wide variety of styles and subject matter, reflecting the broad base of troops who have served in our country’s armed forces 😊

Thanks so much,

Adan

Veterans Art

I do like to point out I pick my selections to showcase from my Amazon searches. May not always be the case, or wholly always the case, but for now, I prefer picking titles and book covers and gift items that just really appeal to me. There’s lots more to choose from, but only have so much room, lol! I hope you enjoy —

Thanks so much everyone! 😊

        1. I get asked that a lot, btw (though more so in person) – I go by Adan, Spanish for Adam 😊 My son said I did him a favor, I named him after me, but changed Felipe to Philip ❤️

    1. Thank you so much, Tiffany! These Veterans Art shows literally show the world the creative diversity of folks in our armed forces, which is of course just an extension of the country, so yes! Very wonderful! 😊 And of course very glad u like my own piece as well ❤️ I see now I was much too hard on myself back then, in 2006, lol! But that’s another story. I’m working on a follow-on post about Autumn Austin, then maybe a photo poem, I miss when I haven’t done one of them, but it’s not only like shifting gears, but the whole vehicle I’m in too! 😊
