excerpt,
“Master artists know how drawing plays a major role in feeding their artist within. A lot of behind the scenes drawing activities shape the outcome of every painting that has endured the ages.”

Though I’m not certain, this may be the first time I’ve reblog the same site/person so soon – less than one month apart! Plus, another quirky thing ‘bout this post 😊 I’ve tried to post this blog article since yesterday (Sat), today is Sunday, and I know it’ll be tonight ‘fore I can finish it properly, as the Brits like to say in the BBC and Amazon Prime shows my wife & I like to watch.
But that’s ok.
Kinda mirror’s the kernel in Dianne Mize’s again excellent short art tip.
Searching where to place the line —
Not necessarily “correctly” but rather where it works for one’s intent. Amazing to see a connect between Michelangelo’s artistic intent, and one’s own living-one’s-life well intent.
But, if life and art are connected, deeply, within us, maybe only “off” by degree –
And not by right or wrong ❤️
I hope you’ll hop over to Dianne’s post, see what those arrows in the Michelangelo’s drawing above are all about, and think too, if even he had to search for the right artistic inflection, then our own gropings with the arts aren’t so silly or indicators of lack of talent after all 💕
Enjoy everyone! Hope you ride the curves of lines in your life with joy!
Thanks everyone!
Adan
