Yesterday, in my newest blog series, Aging Through Covid-19, I mentioned I’d gotten a strange notion about repricing all my art and photography, in prints, framed or gift items. I slept on it, and woke convinced I wanted to do this.
What I’ve done, and I’ll go into more detail in later posts, is reprice every single available option I have, on every single image I’ve uploaded and will continue to upload to Fine Art America to —
One dollar on my portion! 😊
That includes prints of any size, all archival.
All gift items – coffee mugs, yoga mats, phone cases, tote bags – everything!
In future posts I’ll into why, and why I think it’ll benefit both me and my buyers 💕
I’ll leave this be for now with Fine Art America’s guarantee I place at the end of one of my other ongoing series here on my site, Adan’s Fine Art America Images.

I thought of that, but this change right now feels longer term for now, but always good to keep in mind. If/when I change the pricing I’ll announce an ending date and do a post. For now it’s just an experiment 😊

Some kind experiment,… but lots of work to change them back! I hope you didn’t do them all 🙂 I would rather focus on more constructive things… Just my two cents.

Well, I mostly agree, lol! But, it’s done, for now. I like the idea, feels right for me right now at this time. The licensing pricing’s also been done. Now I’m back to concentrating on painting, and starting up featuring my individual uploads (from the earliest first) again – https://felipeadanlerma.com/tag/adans-fine-art-america-images/ .

I’m getting reed of that “licensing” myself. That makes you receive less, and it’s mainly for the type of stock images, which in my best opinion does not apply to your kind of work.
Want some thoughts on what you are doing? Post this question into the FAA main forums – lots of really good advice there!

[…] Earlier this week, I announced dropping my markup (profit) on all my prints and gift items, via any of my nearly 800 & growing number of images at Fine Art America.I’ve now also adjusted my licensing pricing, switching from the more expensive Getty model to the less pricey Shutterstock model. These cover both one time use and extended use licensing. For exclusive commercial use, like a book or album cover, please contact me directly via the site’s contact the artist link 😊 – https://fineartamerica.com/sendemail.html?artistid=459979I’ll leave this be for now with Fine Art America’s guarantee I place at the end of one of my other ongoing series here on my site, Adan’s Fine Art America Images. Thanks so much!Adan […]
