July 16, 2021 – 1st Trip in Over 3 Years

There’s seldom a joyous expression as joyous as that of a child’s, and I’m happy this little one’s happiness is in sync with ours ♥️ Sheila and I had a full day of meals and sun and family. I’m not sure I’ve sensed a feeling of healing and slow careful restoration as nicely as this one since I myself was a child on one of my families trips, also to see grandparents 💕

ps – I’d hoped one day I’d replicate my trek across Lake Champlain in Vermont 6 years ago, but that may be passing me by now, though the memory and images remain forever 🙏
