The postal workers’ famous motto of “neither sleet nor rain….” is all over these 9 year olds celebrating birthdays yesterday. And yes, it did also sunshine, gust over 40 mph, and finally work itself it night, lol!
Unfortunately the chest had to be dragged back out to a truck, but at least it was for a good cause – heading to our 9 year old grandson’s birthday mate’s ( same day, year, etc! ) home, where there they got to continue what dad and grandson ( below, left ) had begun, but at the birthday mate’s house & yard. Sheila and I stayed inside 😊
As did the hosts’ family dog, who took quite a comfortable-inside-the-house shine to Sheila ❤️
All in all, a nearly 4 seasons in one day birthday success!
I’d told the now 9 year old he was 1/2 way to 18, and he looked perplexed, ie, “So?”
And we all just smiled. So much ahead, so much to learn, so much to experience, so much to love 💕
