I’ve done few reblogs for awhile now and this is one I’m very pleased to share 🙂 The, for me, inescapable intrigue of being in Paris! Via Jane Dougherty — I’ll try to add one of my Paris pics that might fit 😊
Here’s one, from the Latin Quarter in Black & White!

So true, da-Al! My wife & I got to spend over a month in Paris late 2012 and the whole experience was like that – a dream! And Jane’s poem I think captures that same sense of being somewhere timeless, somewhere magical 💕
Good to see you again. Love your work and this great taste of Paris. Do you remember which arrondissement this scene was captured in? I’m rarely online right now, thanks to both wrists broken a few weeks ago. Fun.
Both wrists broke, oooh, that HAS to hurt! I hope ur mending well and so appreciate ur stopping by! 😊 This is a small cobblestone street just north of St Germain in the 6th arrondissement and east of St Michel and the fountain. I had debated another street scene I was lucky enough to catch but it has a more positive tone & felt this one captured more of the poem’s mood. The other one’s at – https://fineartamerica.com/featured/cobblestone-path-home-paris-bw-felipe-adan-lerma.html . I’ve a painted version I’ll have in a show here in Austin July-Sept at Art For the People. We stayed in that area of Paris 5 1/2 weeks and would love to go back a few months more (of course)! 😊 Mend strongly and supplely!
I just had a look on google maps, and hardly anything has changed from when I worked there, the street, not the hotel which is still there and looks quite respectable now 🙂

That’s taken not too far from the place in the poem 🙂

Perfect! Paris just reeks of interpersonalness, and through all ages of history; amazing wonderful city 🙂

Ahhhha, “looks” quite respectable now — you’ll have to revisit sometime and give us an update! 🙂
