Phil has always had a consistent steady stream of visual variety – one shot posts of one of his designs on sexy leggings or steaming cup of coffee, strand alone digital recreations from his imaginations, waterfalls, skies, and stories of his meeting bears face to face in his hikes.
This one is one of the latter, but with layers of information & visual candy 😊
Among many great shots of this hike is a BW I really liked, smokey in its depths and distances.
There’s a video showing perspective from far away of where the observation area for that BW is – amazing!
And then there’s the layer of geological history – “The half-billion-year-old Chimney Tops, made of slates, schists, and phyllites, sit atop even older rock – Thunderhead sandstone….”
Plus hiking tips the occasional hiker like myself really appreciates, lol!
I hope you’ll give Phil’s post a look, the eye pleasing photography alone is worth the visit 😊
Thanks everyone!
