My first Reblog of this interesting artist in northern (I believe) England, Margaret does a lot of experimentation with various mediums, but I’ve particularly liked her watercolors and work plein air via her local chapter of the international group, Urban Sketchers.
Here she offers short yet interesting takes on her experiences. One, the above image, was painted in November, and the other (not shown) in a lovely winter scene painted in December. They’re so different from each other, amazing her captures and feels of the moments!
The latter work is also very different in that she doesn’t use her strong ink outline mode, which I really like, and was very pleasantly surprised how much I like both her approaches 😊

I was surprised I hadn’t already but so glad I finally did 😊 Interesting how she uses ink and watercolor I think! I wanna work on that, not something I’ve done much of yet 😊
