By early evening, our day long treat of visiting the new Primal Gallery in the near Hill Country earlier, we were ready to ease down to an old familiar location having their 1st open-art-call opening and show since before the pandemic – AVAA’s Austin Art Space!
The range of art was generously hung with ample ceiling and window lighting —
— plus a threatening thunderstorm that never arrived did cool down the air below a 100, enough for folks to play and listen to music in front of the gallery 🎶 😊

The north light filtering through the wide converted-retail-store’s front windows let me see my own work, Angel, better than I’d seen it even at home, lol! ❤️

There was ample food ( brought by us artists ☺️ ), a little wine & beer, and lots of friends we hadn’t seen in a long time – and – a few we’d seen earlier in the day at Primal Gallery!
Not a bad way to pass a predicted-bad-weather-day that stayed away! hearts 💕
