She felt the first flutter
tickling songs into her ears
teasing smiles from her wide eyes
as trembles 
aches
stretched sweet like taffy
below her abdomen
beyond her shoulders
into her golden wings
her heart
rising blue
like vapor…
from our sun’s own breath….
