Not only am I grateful to my Brooklyn buyer, but also to Saatchi Art that literally navigated me through the ice-storm prolonged process last month here Austin!

Plus learning the new-to-me stringent process of ensuring my art is as securely packaged as possible to ensure safe delivery to my buyer! 🙏

Even the payment process of my portion involved detailed setting up and delivery to ensure safe secure delivery of my payment.

All in all, a strenuous reassuring process!

How to find more of my abstract work

Though I’d tinkered with painting since grade school, then again in my late teens (mostly copying Dali’s), it was in my late 20’s (late 1970’s, easy to tack my years by decades, benefit of a 1950 birth year) into my early 30s (early 1980s) that I began really experimenting putting paint to canvas with my work splitting between awkward representations and free-wheeling abstracts. I really didn’t differentiate much between the two styles, at least consciously. A few folks might think that’s still the case, lol!

Even now, despite all effort, I can’t forgo one for the other.

This is a long way round to say I still do both styles, with my more representational style now mostly done in series work via my original photos, and my abstract work done more free-wheeling. And more often than not, either style includes elements of the other 😊

A good thing though, about availability of my abstract work, is that “lots” of it is also listed on Fine Art America, as I began listing with them way before I learned of Saatchi.

FAA does directly sell original art, but if you see something you like at FAA and would to discuss a purchase for a painting not listed on Saatchi, please contact me directly through Saatchi and if that painting is still available, we can work through Saatchi. As noted at the beginning, their process really does inspire confidence for both the seller and buyer.

And of course, if you see a gift item you’d like for yourself or a friend, there’s lots to choose from! T-shirts, yoga mats, gift cards and much more!
