I’ve been taking pictures since high school when a friend sold me a used 35mm for $20 (he later told me he’d thought he’d taken advantage of our friendship 😊) and painted since first grade when the teacher, God bless her heart, on her own had us paint with watercolors to music 💕

I’m in the process of auctioning a selection older work (80s through 2000’s) on eBay, and am finally venturing into licensing and limited editions for both my photography and my art.

I have accumulated more photos than I’d probably ever totally be able to work with, and more ideas for paintings than there’s paint for, lol! That and my close relationships are my truest savings as I near 69 then begin my 70’s!

My images are registered with the U.S. Library of Congress via numerous collections, and will passed onto our grandchildren, where they will have full derivative and other rights 😊

About This Image

Austin Pink Sunset is part of a trilogy of the same sunset taken from 3 vantage points along the shallow southern bank of Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas.

That I had to scurry in the short time the sun shone like roses on glass and clouds alike, from slippery bank to root entangled shore, was half the fun. The other fun was later discovering what a fortunate set of timing and why-not it was deciding not to go home yet and run from Butler Park to my first shot 😊

Austin Pink Sunset has been and continues to be my most popular image at both Fine Art America (online) and the Old Bakery & Emporium (Austin historical bldg now gift shop).

Below is information on both Licensing and purchasing a Limited Edition of this, almost certainly for me, once in a lifetime capture of Austin glowing in real life pink (smiles).

Licensing & Limited Editions

Licensing
Offered are both Single Use and Multi-Use Personal Use options for each original image.

With the Personal Single Use license you may use this image in a non-commercial manner, free blog post, or to print on a calendar you are giving as a gift.

For Personal Multiple Use, such as gifts to club or association members, or large group of family and friends, a Multi-Use license might be more appropriate and less expensive than the single use fee applied multiple times. Purchase a Personal Use License for Austin Pink Sunset

Limited Editions
Numbered hand signed limited editions 1-100 are priced at $75.00 and available on a first request/paid basis. Any number can be chosen as available.

Sizes will vary slightly to best represent the original image’s dimensions and have a white border with the Edition Number, the title, and my signature. Optimum longest length, except for square formats, is 16 to 18 inches.

I had thought lower numbers would naturally be most sought, but have learned sometimes a more meaningful or favorite number is wanted, such as someone’s age.

Though I am presenting each image I have individually over time, any image I have posted on Fine Art America or elsewhere is available to choose from as a Limited Edition.

A hand signed Certificate of Authenticity is included with each purchase. Non-local deliveries are securely mailed and insured. When available, an 8×10 open edition print of either one of my photos or one of my paintings, is also included as a special thank you.

I captured “Austin Pink Sunset” with an iPhone 5, and when my wife and I each got new XR iPhones earlier this year via an ATT offer, the most important thing we did was get phone covers. These durable covers from Amazon are similar to those we purchased. Being a senior, and going out to take pictures whenever the weather’s good, or at crowded family gatherings, fear of dropping our phone has proven to be legitimate! 😊
