Today

I’d secretly decided last night I wasn’t gonna go to any Wed morning exercise class – way way too tired! Last I’d heard the night before was Sheila was still planning on going. Well, yesterday it hit 98 very briefly late afternoon, and this morning it was closer to 50 – nearly half! So she stayed home too!

A leisurely breakfast, a cooler morning, breezy & brisk, and then off to Central Market and Sprouts. Also leisurely 😊

Maybe a walk in the afternoon after a wild salmon lunch.

Maybe a little TV & catch up on my blog posts…

And maybe a little quiet time together ♥️

Yesterday

Yesterday, along w/Monday’s measure of my moderate to vigorous exertions via my Garmin tracker, shows almost 2x the week’s recommended min exertion minutes, 150! No wonder I fell asleep last night by nine, lol!

But yesterday did continue Monday’s change of pace fun stuff to do –

* did my 1st full hour walk & pause (to shoot pictures) since before my 1st operation, ie, since very early June! Went down a trail along Slaughter Creek & explored further east than usual, got lost a tiny bit, and saw some of the limestone bedrock I was used to seeing in the much smaller deeper creeks in our old neighborhood closer to the Lady Bird Lake

* celebrated our youngest girl’s birthday, with the grandson too of course 😊 and had a really nice evening. She spotted Dancing Flower for the 1st time & really liked it, so I gave it to her for her birthday; she immediately said she had a specific spot for it, nice 💗 After, I took down the listing for it on eBay & put out a short post & updated the listing on Fine Art America so anyone looking for it’d know it was no longer avail

* got an early birthday treat of my own as, since I feel asleep early after company left anyway, lol! – Sheila unloaded the dishwasher I’d filled up & turned on. The dishwasher’s usually my job, lol! Anyway, that was a nice topping to the evening for me 😊
