An easy to read yet comprehensive article covering the history of romaine lettuce problems, the various origins of those problems, and the areas affected in the U.S. It doesn’t seem that it’s affected all the states, but also seems to continue to spread and pop up.
Sheila and I were looking for mixed greens to prepare to take to Thursdays family Thanksgiving meal and the shelves at Central Market had been stripped of anything containing romaine! Then I saw this post above via my Consumer Reports newsletter.
