December 31, 2021 – Happy New Years Eve!

I couldn’t find anything specific I wrote last year for 2020’s New Years Eve, so I figured I better get creating something, lol! And with no specific “new years” image in mind, I chose ( for today and next year 😊 Jan 01’22 ) my newest minimalist single color impressionist abstract. I sometimes wonder if I came up with such a large name to make up for this being such a relatively ( deceivingly so though ) simple image.

For instance, I immediately took this as a multi-faceted multi-layered landscape.

Filled with memories and vistas of both sunsets and sunrises.

Nuanced with rolling surface textures.

My wife said, “I see a swimmer.”

Uh. Ok. Yeah. I see that…now…. 🤷‍♂️

So I figured, well, at least I definitely did get the title right then —

Red. Impressionist. Abstract. 1.

Just with all the dots ( periods) dropped off, lol!
