July 14, 2022 – Sold! Center Watercolor, Pink Blue Garden circa 2020, at The Old Bakery and Emporium #AustinTexas
I was happy to discover today that one of my 3 floral 8×10 acrylics at The Old Bakery & Emporium had sold! 🙏 😊

May 17, 2022 – I Have a Lot of Happenings ( art & personal ) This Week, But Still Finding Moments To Start a New Painting : Morning’s Promise
It’s nice to dance the surface of my canvas as needed. And able ☺️ And right now, a light step, at an easy pace, may give me the time – and energy – to get more than a handful of other needed things also done this week. Not a bad compromise. For now 😊

April 05, 2022 – Experimenting With Polyptychs, Part 3 – Black Panel Diptychs
Though not able yet to paint ( time wise ) at the level I was working before ( chores, obligations, etc ) – I did squeak out a couple of new polyptychs, both diptych 2-panel pieces, each panel a 16×20 black canvas work.

March 30, 2022 – Experimenting With Polyptychs, Part 2 – Separating, or Joining Panels While Painting : How Does it Affect My Creativity? Detail View : Cut and UnCut Panel Edges
Whether I’ll end up preferring single full canvas works, or multi-panel polyptychs, I honestly don’t know right now. My guess is, I’m gonna like keeping on doing both 😊
-
March 29, 2022 – Experimenting With Polyptychs, Part 1 – Separating, or Joining Panels While Painting : How Does it Affect My Creativity?
I don’t have an answer for the title question yet, but I realized, if I wanted to explore that idea/question, I needed to start a blog post thread separate from my initiating blog post series when I 1st started exploring working with multiple canvas panels. I’m calling this new thread – Experimenting With Polyptychs, and…

March 28, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, Part 7 – “Migration”
Evidently there’s many mysteries still lurking, glimmering, teasing, from the long shadows of our senior years ❤️ And if you’re a young’un, then just go with the flow & don’t worry about it. You’ll slow down enough one day to begin to catch glimpses of the magic we’re truly all made of 💕

You can see in the above shot a mix of absorbent ground covered canvas showing through, plus numerous layers mostly palette knifed onto, into and around each other 😊
-
March 21, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 5 – Signing the Backs of Each of 4 Panels
A reader recently commented they looked forward to seeing how I’d sign this new work, there being 4 panels 😊 This part of my signing, and the post about it, is the easier for me to do 1st because this is how I’ve signed the back of each of the 4 polyptych pieces. Signing the…

March 18, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 4 – Something New I Didn’t Expect Painting Across 4 Panels!
I think I’ve finished my new painting – “Mountains, Clouds and Waves” – except for the placement(s) of my signature(s) and I’ll do that in probably the next (and final) post (I think, lol!) in this mini series. What I do want to speak to just a bit – because it now seems so obvious…
-
March 16, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 3 – Getting Some Answers
Still a bit more to go, but I’m clarifying to myself 😊 the direction and feeling I want this new more-complex-abstract-than-usual work to go. I’ve definitely chosen to rebalance the 4 panels in favor of the left 2 panels’ lighter balance of swooshes of colors.
-
March 15, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 2
You might be able to tell some of the changes so far on this 4 panel piece painting from the previous day’s shot of the same work from a distance in my still-emerging new set up for my art room, lol!
-
March 14, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 1
I seem to be on an unintended rush to catch up with an equally unintended rash of new paintings I’ve been creating since late last year, and decided, under pressure of not being able to move in the smaller 2nd bedroom in our apartment I call my “art room” 😊

March 11, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Turquoise Impressionist Abstract 1
I love this color between blue and green, and am so glad I finally produced a fairly colorful ( considering the general monotone ) rendition with “lots” of density and textural variation.

February 27, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Blue with Gold Twilight – New 10×20 #Panoramic #Abstract #AcrylicPainting
I rushed getting Blue with Gold Twilight uploaded to Fine Art America because I’d also submitted it to Creative Art Society here in Austin for their online market. Considering I’d just painted it, I guess it was all a rush, lol! But I hadn’t painted it with the above online market in mind, it just…

February 25, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink with Maroon Landscape and Bird
Second of two 10×20 inch acrylic color fields I’m listing on Creative Arts Society’s Spring Online Market ( begins March 01, 2022 ), Pink with Maroon Landscape joins my 1st selection, Blue with Gold Twilight. Both should be easier to ship if sold, and sold to a buyer outside the Austin area. Neither is offered…
-
February 23, 2022 – New 24×36 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #LyricalAbstract Upload @FineArtAmerica – Scenic Pink with Yellow
I look at this image, of a new 2×3 foot size color field, knowing how large it looks and feels, even at this relatively medium size, and realize maybe I need some size perspective shots, like with me holding or beside the painting.
-
February 21, 2022 – 3rd Straight Week, My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Easy Stroll – New 16×20 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting
With a healthy margin over my others in my 12 most viewed at Fine Art America for the week, Easy Stroll – should I say it? – strolled in as most viewed for a 3rd week! ❤️ Also, as mentioned in my previous most-viewed post, I very recently included it in my application the Austin’s…

February 19, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Blue with Gold Twilight
Typically I don’t post back to back about my new Fine Art America uploads, but Blue with Gold Twilight, besides being one of my better efforts, lol! is also part of a group of 3 paintings I’ve recently submitted to Creative Art Society here in Austin for their Online Market.

-
February 16, 2022 – 3 New #Pink #Abstract Acrylics : Pink Vortex, Pink Cosmic Tunnel, Scenic Pink with Yellow
I’m finding many benefits and even more enjoyment creating similar color field paintings of a single hue than I’d expected ❤️
-
February 15, 2022 – New 18×24 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink Vortex
I’ve expected to do variations of colors I liked and find them interesting how similar and yet also how different, when the paint is dry and the textures are set, they might end up to be.
-
February 14, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Easy Stroll – New 16×20 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting
Happy Valentines Day everyone! And, it’s also my wife’s birthday!! ♥️ So it’s kinda extra nice to post that Easy Stroll repeats as I most viewed on Fine Art America during the 1st week of February. The painting itself reminds me of both stories she’s told me of her year long stay in the jungles…

February 06, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Easy Stroll – New 16×20 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting
Among my many experimental works, of all sizes & various mediums, Easy Stroll is a kind of prototype for me. I’ve not created other work like it again yet, even though this among my favorites. But I’ve several like this….

January 30, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Pink Impressionist Abstract 1 – New 12×24 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting
Pink seemed like a long shot for me to get a good color block of, but I’d one well with red ( one already posted, the other in the wings to have the sides painted ) so I figured, let’s see… 😊
-
January 27, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Easy Stroll
A vertical abstract I absolutely had no idea would contain so many potential figures and landscape features! Positively must be my sub-conscious at work, esp considering I didn’t even become aware of the potential imagery til I observed the work from….
-
January 24, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink Impressionist Abstract 1
My newest panoramic impressionist abstract color block on a 12×24 gallery wrapped canvas is – Pink! 😊 And my one line description for this art work on it’s page at Fine Art America reads —
-
January 23, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Blue Impressionist Abstract 1 – New 12×24 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting
It’s kinda neat how these impressionist abstract panoramas I’ve been working on conjure up so many varying images, or at least semi-suggested images, lol! I see waves and sky and beach, the horizon line shifting from lower 1/3 to upper 1/3 depending how I squint 😊 Working bottom to top, I can even see….
-
January 21, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Healthy Vines Happy Hearts
A relatively simple work with a slightly more complex arrangement of paint application than my usual. That’s a mouthful, lol! But pretty accurate in term of my process! 😊 First, I laid in a faint yellow base, a mix of watercolor and acrylic. Next I laid over a….
-
January 16, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Fantasy Landscape – New 16×20 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting
Fantasy Landscape is currently residing at the Old Bakery & Emporium in downtown Austin across from the Texas State Capital. It’s a super playful acrylic I didn’t realize would be “so much” a landscape as it turned out, lol! All part of the “discovery” process inside each artist, often call the landscape inside, probably in…
-
January 15, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Blue Impressionist Abstract 1
Third of my 3 uploaded acrylic color blocks, each 12×24 inches on gallery wrapped canvas, Blue gives me a triad of sorts, the other two paintings being red and yellow. A link to related blog posts is – https://felipeadanlerma.com/?s=Impressionist+abstract I’ve always like panoramas, even in my….

January 09, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image 1st Week of the New Year @FineArtAmerica, Red Impressionist Abstract 1 – New #Panoramic #AcrylicPainting on 12×24 Gallery Wrapped Canvas
Red Impressionist Abstract 1, is the second in a new series of series, so to speak 😊 where I am creating a line of medium size 12×24 gallery wrapped panoramic monochromatic paintings (not counting the white paint in the mix). The 1st, in yellow, is featured in the live tweet further below. Like my other…
-
January 08, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Fantasy Landscape
This is one of those works I didn’t “see” the landscape til I saw it from another room, lol! But I’d immediately liked the colors and sway of texture, and though it’s kinda rough is spots, it’s part of what makes it work I think. Usually I’ll hold a very new work like this for…

December 29, 2021 – I’m (slowly) Creating a Product Page for Folks to See and Buy My Paintings – 1st Concrete Step : Create Target Galleries on #FineArtAmerica
My singular goal is not to simply channel all my online and other painting sales through Fine Art America, though their direct messaging system from buyer to me, and back again, is very good. Rather it’s to ease into making my art listings into product categories, ie, acrylics, small works, etc, like I wrote about…

December 23, 2021 – I’m (slowly) Creating a Product Page for Folks to See and Buy My Paintings Here On My Site!
Why I’m doing this, creating a permanent page or post on my site with listings of my art for sale, when I have sorta the same thing on Fine Art America, is an answer with many components, all of which dovetail into one main thing — time ♥️ Here’s a list of the reasons. Some…

December 22, 2021 – New 6×6 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Mesa Verde in the Beginning
I’ve just recently begun letting myself acrylic-free-wheel experiment on what I 1st began experimenting with my watercolors on, little 6×6 inch gallery wrapped canvases, much like my recent post on another painting from this same new batch – The Smile in the Moon . Mesa Verde in the Beginning is much more abstract, and the…

December 21, 2021 – 2 Art Products I Like and Use on Amazon : #Arteza and #Golden
First I thought it really is too late for the Christmas shopping season. Then I thought, hey, Christmas is all year, and so is art, lol! So here’s 2 lines of products from two art vendors I use “a lot” in my work currently and thought they might be worth exploring or knowing about for…

December 20, 2021 – My Most Viewed Image This Past Week @FineArtAmerica, A Rare Tie! – Abstract Minimalism 2 and Yellow Impressionist Abstract 1
Not sure I remember a tie for most viewed image for a particular week on Fine Art America before, though there were many weeks in the early years I didn’t follow that then. It’s a good indicator I think of what’s catching folk’s eyes, even if no sales jump out from it at the time.…

December 18, 2021 – How I Came to Like and Finish My Little 6×6, The Smile in the Moon
This was a real challenge for me, how to keep the bulk and integrity of this small pink work, a work I really really like, but felt was a touch too stark.

December 16, 2021 – Destroyed 2 Small 6×6’s I Was Liking and, Experimenting, Created Two I Like Better – #theAdjacentPossible?
It’s a little hard to tell in the smaller images above which ones I circled in red (unless you tap on the image & see full screen). The one shot image below, with the two left paintings circled are what I did have; and the single shot image below it, with the two end paintings…

December 12, 2021 – My Most Viewed Image This Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Peace
Another new release becomes my most viewed image on Fine Art America, this for the 1st week in December 2021 😊 Not all new releases become most viewed the week they’re released, and for awhile, even that was a rarity; lately though, it occurred enough for me to notice, lol! Is my work getting better?…
