Today ( Monday ) is our 1st full day in our new apt, and even with all the sorting & choosing of what will go where ( and what really must be stored, chunked or donated ) I eked out enough time to finally upload a poster version of Easy Stroll, one of my favorite figure/landscape/abstracts, to Fine Art America!

I also expanded a bit on my description of this work, saying —

wrote for my original –
“Villages, then and now, with vistas and verdant colors earth, welcome all peaceful visitors with a stroll for the heart.”

I feel the pale soft yellow bordering and other touches helps focus the eye onto the abstracted figures n the foreground and street path not the distant hills – none of which, I must admit, was intentionally planned or intended. These, as Joan Mitchell the abstract painter has said of her work, are landscapes now residing in me 🙏 ❤️

It’s 1/2 past 8 pm already, with temps in the low 100s still, here in Austin, and tomorrow with needs / must get groceries and such; hopefully in the morning 😊
