June 22, 2022 – New! – Walking in Light Poster

With our move to our new apt home done except for the sorting and placements, and Sheila and I are tiptoeing back into doing some exercise sets via SilverSneakers’ live Zoom class options, I’m finally beginning to post the few posters I’d gotten to work on before moving became a full time job, lol!

My newest poster upload is for my original watercolor / acrylic, Walking in Light.

As what happened when I posted the poster version of Easy Stroll, which I’d also written a short poem for on Fine Art America, I also ended up adding on to that poem with a bit of commentary. It reads –

wrote for my original –
“When the silence sings your soul’s best wishes, light dapples the path you’re on.”

I gotta admit, sometimes the best thing ’bout bruising a poem out to suit one of my images is – simply reminding myself, like I’d never heard the words, what my intent had been.

And when it still matches, when I see my image and read my words, I truly do feel the joining – anew….

It’s nearly 9pm ( Tuesday), and some rare rain clouds are chasing the last light into night with dreams of cooler air, so I’m gonna call it a post and join my wife outside on the balcony and let the breeze tease us to sleep ☺️
