September 06, 2022 – Pacing Myself to My September 8th Operation on My Breathing Channels – Ordering Meds, Gathering Supplies, Exercising Slowly But Strongly

Yesterday, Labor Day, time got away from us, mixing down time watching Morse, the late 80’s predecessor to Masterpieces’ equally engaging Endeavor, plus finalizing forms for our before-dawn checkin for surgery.

Sheila and I even got in a nicely, slowly, powerfully paced 45 minute yoga class with Shannon via SilverSneakers’ live Zoom classes. Our 1st time catching a class with her; hoping to catch more of her classes once I’m cleared to exercise again, maybe in October!

With living half a century with sinus passages blocked and obstructing drainage, a severely deviated septum ( no air entry thru right nostril ), and both nostrils pushed downward vs slightly forward, and all the subsequent infections and other ailments from reduced oxygen flow – yes I’m ready and hoping this 5 hour surgery will be very good for me 🙏

If it seems I’m optimistic, I am 😊 even if cautiously so ☺️
