except for the rarest of springs in texas, where the mild winter jumped to summer 😉 this is the longest spring season i’ve ever experienced –
thus so many spring headers i’ve used this year 😉
this is a relatively recently rejuvenated area nearby in the neighboring town of winooski
the name winooski comes from the indian tribe abenaki, original to this area, and means onion, which evidently grows in abundance along the river
i particularly like this ’cause i was very surprised, back in austin, to see how beautiful an onion plant can actually be
and spring is only about half way through to summer, on the calendar, and, evidently, here in vermont too 😉
