sheila and i literally just got settled into a temporary extended stay at Sun & Ski Inn in stowe while we wait for the first flight available for us for our side trip to paris, enroute from vermont to texas
that we have such a relatively easy complication from hurricane sandy’s visit to the northeast, is something we are extremely grateful for
having gone through hurricanes since hurricane carla in houston in the early 60s, i can say from personal experience that size of storm is irrelevant when it comes to if a storm adversely affects a person
some smaller storms, like sandy, pack the most water, which is, i believe, the biggest threat still from tropical storms
either way, if one loses power, even in a thunderstorm, then a family or individual becomes vulnerable
so all our prayers and best wishes, for all of us
my third fiction novel in the current series, “A Love Story” is a great fun read of a large family gathering together – everyone from grandchildren to grown children to grandparents is involved 😉
