I believe I’ve worked my blog to the point where I can start (re)presenting older material I really like, cleanly, and simply link to the years’ earlier related posts for context and depth.

I hope you’ll agree, this is a nice way to (re)present older work I value 😊

Seated
in a cafe of hundreds
and unable to hear
anyone’s whispers
and public kisses
receiving
passing smiles,
we know
despite the monuments
dated in centuries
outside our curtained window,
everything we would do
that day, that night,
in the quiet of our room,
by the bustle of the metro,
on the walks of the Champs-Elysees,
under the Eiffel Tower,
everything we could do,
would always be
personal.
