Re-Joining Creative Arts Society (CAS) in Austin 😊 🎨

CAS – Creative Arts Society

Just a quick word – I’ll have fuller posts as I exhibit thru CAS – that I’ve rejoined my old Austin arts organization I’d left when Sheila and I left Austin in 2010 and began our journey to Galveston, Vermont, and Paris 😊

Plus, I’ve a bit more insight into my thoughts about this via the Yesterday section of My Day Ahead post for today!

Robb McKenzie, who curated the U.S. Veterans Art Show at Jerry’s Artarama, is the current president of CAS, and convinced me it’d me worth a return membership. Some old friends from back then are still involved, and hopefully I’ll get to see some folks for the first time in quite awhile 😊

CAS, if you check out their Exhibit Schedule page, showcases at an enviable range of venues from very casual (cafes, hair salons, and more) to well regarded galleries in town, to special venues like the University of Texas and the Doughtery Center.

I’ll be sure & let folks know where I’m showing and when 💗

Thanks everyone!

    • Yes, and looks like its evolved way past where when I last was with them around 2010 – with a much stronger portfolio of photography to compliment my art, I think I can benefit and contribute even more this time, and I wasn’t unhappy when I left, we just were moving to several places over a few years when we retired. Should be fun, Tiffany – thanks so much for commenting 😊
