I’m pretty sure this will be the finished painting, but gonna let it sit just a bit, then if so, if the photo’d image shot of Testing the Water shows well when the edges are straightened out etc in Affinity Photo and I can upload it to Fine Art America, then I can fairly safely say it’s done 😊
‘Course, I did that with Barton Springs Greenbelt Indian Summer, uploaded it to FAA, and now have again wiped the figure area clean. I’d reached a point where I didn’t feel I could do a better figure that’d also fit into the painting, but do now (even if I still don’t end up doing so, lol!) Still, I’m gonna give Barton Springs Greenbelt Indian Summer another shot with a new, hopefully better figure in the pic.
I don’t think I’ve ever done that – have felt the work was as good as I could get, have uploaded it to Fine Art America, then changed the painting! Which reminds me, I need to chg the status of the image there on FAA from “for sale” to “not available” – there, done that now 😊
Stay well everyone! ❤️

ps – my mom is back home, a decision being made that if she can’t make it, she’d like to pass at home with family, even if in protective gear & vaccinated. Wife & I did FaceTime w/her, with 2 of my sisters & our oldest girl there w/her. Very humbling to one’s mom struggle so valiantly to continue with divinity, compassion and love 💕
