March 15, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 2

You might be able to tell some of the changes so far on this 4 panel piece painting from the previous day’s shot of the same work from a distance in my still-emerging new set up for my art room, lol!

I did want to address some ideas and issues about —

  • what / who got me started thinking ’bout doing my own panels ( polyptychs )
  • how / why the larger size 4 piece panel painting ( only 1 done to date so far ) differs from the 2 smaller 3 piece panel works creatively for me
  • and where I see ( hopefully? ) this new-to-me approach heading

— but have had a heck of a time with chores lately & was lucky to get some painting done, mostly finding areas to lighten creating pass ways through the image. And that, with chores, is gonna have to be good enough for me right now ☺️

I am, very honestly, very glad I got to do some painting today 🙏

Stay well everyone! 💕
