March 22, 2022 – Rearranging My “Art Room” at Home for a New Endeavor : Polyptychs, ie, Art on 2 or More Panels, Part 6 – Detail Texture Shots of Panel 1of4 ; Full Image Title “Mountains Clouds and Waves”

We’re having rolling waves of severe thunderstorms and numerous sighted tornadoes, so just a quick post in answer to a dear reader’s request for some detail texture shots of my 1st ever polyptych – Mountains Clouds and Waves. She’s restarting her website from scratch and gives a nice preview on her post linked above 🙏

You can see in the above shot a mix of absorbent ground covered canvas showing through, plus numerous layers mostly palette knifed onto, into and around each other 😊

Below is another capture, though with some of my shadow on the work, but it still gives a good view of the density of textural variety within the smaller areas of each of the 10×20 inch canvases.

And here below, a better cropped image from my previous post with Max showing front and back of this same panel, #1of 4, with the back showing how I also now sign the back of work I do.

And as usual, stay safe everyone, and today, with storms rolling through sounding like trains racing in the sky, that definitely includes us, family & friends here in Central and Coastal Texas 💕
