July 02, 2022 – #CrescentMoon at Sunset, Austin Texas

I hoped, in yesterday’s post, I might be able to post this sunset off our balcony – a crescent moon floating above the sea of crimson orange air – and am so glad I could 🙏

Sheila and I did hang 1/2 a dozen paintings up in parts of our living room, and I’ve begun to very tentatively, slowly, letting my rhythms find themselves within me again, paint again ❤️

For now, I’m only able to do tiny process moments – a lay-in with light molding paste, a watercolor pencil sketch over the dried textured paste, followed by an acrylic heavy matte gel with a touch of one watercolor hue – each on separate days —

— but it’s a re-beginning, and I’ll take that 😊
