September 10, 2022 – Using Rib Cartilage For My Nose Reconstruction

Cut to remove rib cartilage to help me with my nose reconstruction Sept 2022
Cut to remove rib cartilage to help me with my nose reconstruction Sept 2022

Last surgery pic I’ll show I think; wasn’t even aware of the cut til today, lol! My focus has been on hourly high pressure rinses of my nostrils to keep the channels clean to heal well, and so I can breathe occasionally through my nose instead of only by mouth.

I can tell already though, once I’ve healed enough to have the splints out ( hopefully next Thursday ) I’m gonna experience a vastly improved quality of life 🙏

How folks go through this alone, esp elderly or disabled, is beyond me. Without Sheila being with me, well I don’t even want to think of it ☺️

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have nice sky picture to share!

Stay well everyone! ❤️

Voting, in our democracy, is the purest form of expression.
Dissenting, affirming, protesting –
– all flow through the form of the ballot, not, the bullet…

*

Stay well everyone – for oneself, and for those who need us most..the children….
