Late last month I posted the 1st glimmer I’d seen in awhile that the are-they-gonna-raise-interest-rates-til-they-crash-the-whole-economy scenario might not “have” to happen ( September 27, 2022 – Now This Sounds Right : “Fed can avoid ‘deep pain’ in inflation fight, Bostic says” ) – and yesterday ( Friday, 10.14.22 ) I saw a resurgence of moderating that willfulness to horse ride whip our economy home!

There are some other moderates among the Federal Reserve regional presidents, and this a good example of another —

Plus the National Retail Federation seems to have a clearer broader solution view than just interest rates —

And lastly, the now public’s & investment community’s quick response to tax policies that not only were never fair, and probably really never work as advertised anyway —

Yes, there does seem to be hope & evidence that alternatives to the sledgehammer-interest-rates-only approach to inflation & prosperity are gaining ground, even within the Federal Reserve & business communities themselves 😊
