step moms and dads can be tricky, even if they’re great

one doesn’t always have the familiarity-luxury of one’s own parents, and how we’re ingrained in our behavior with them

i suppose this opens up the opportunity to evolve something new with a parent-like figure, learn something new, be someone new…

I am to

if, as i mentioned in this week’s first poem in my mother’s day week of poems, a parent might be our first, our own given-guru, i guess a step-mom or dad could be like the substitute teacher 😉

don’t worry, either way, i believe, we’re entitled to and expected to out-grow our guru-need –

not saying anything ’bout all those threads of human feelings woven into us 😉
