Happy First Day of Autumn 2013, Austin

First day of autumn 2013 here in Austin saw the best weather since the first part of May!  So said the weatherman, who I think was correct, and, so says our resident potted plant lizard (who had a baby recently).

Yes, it’s true, it’s been almost a hundred since then, but, one day, autumn will return again.  And our lizard friend will show herself again. 😉

Below are the full size and header cropped versions.

The total picture version was originally a 20 meg file, and the nice detail and nuance, I think, shows in the cropped header.

After cropping and a quick auto tone correct punch, only the barest whisk-whisk brush swipes of sharpening, saturating, and lightening were done, like passing glimmers of thought.
