Winter 2013 – 14
Winter starts late here in Central Texas, sometimes not at all, simply stopping by for a few days.
But in Vermont, where this image was taken, winter is often still hanging on into spring time. Shot through our back bedroom window (opened, briefly, for better angles and less glare) these robins had scouted out a small bush chock full of red berries.
I’ve a nice post on the berries in the snow. My first big snow in Vermont actually.
Some day, soon I hope, I’ll do a post or a small ebook on how the robins surveyed the area, gathered, then stripped any sign of the berries having been there at all! Amazing.
Meanwhile, my hopes and wishes for a wonderful 2014 for all of us.
