A New Experiment
I’ll have more information on this soon, but basically my plan is to have a Twitter visual image with an excerpt from each chapter in my thriller, One Night in the Hill Country.
This is the first excerpt tweet –
The Plan
Monday the campaign begins a three times a week release schedule, probably each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
There are 78 chapters in the novella. Unless I change the release pattern , the whole book should be covered in about six months.
I had a lot of considerations how to do this. More so than why.
But I’ll begin covering those issues in future posts.
I will say I got the impetus for the idea from my Twitter excerpts for my current novel, Queen the Serial Novel. It has 37 short books of about 2500-3500 words each. A new book is released weekly.
YouTube excerpts in a Readers Theatre format are being created for each book from Queen, but I don’t know if I’ll try that with the excerpts from ONITHC yet.
#ONITHC will be a tag I use on each tweet excerpt for One Night in the Hill Country.
Hopefully that will help folks find the thread if they get lost or start late.
I’m sure I’ll learn more what to do and not do as I progress (smiles).
I’ll also try and do a blog post the end of each week.
Those will feature that week’s three tweets.
