Tweet excerpt,

At the entrance to the grande fortress hotel, set from the beach to midway up the rough hill facing the ocean, those who had conquered, could buy new clothes made by local tailors, shower, shave, and party as new lords for the night. Arturo, took the stone steps easily, feeling a grateful comfort of being fit. Macario, the hotel owner and manager, worried, and standing near the entrance, spotted Arturo and quickly came toward him. Relief ridding his face of anxiety and anger, he stared at the star of the massive art show already underway.

“Arturo. You shaved!”
