February 14, 2022 – My Most Viewed Image this Past Week @FineArtAmerica, Easy Stroll – New 16×20 #LyricalAbstract #AcrylicPainting

Happy Valentines Day everyone! And, it’s also my wife’s birthday!! ♥️

So it’s kinda extra nice to post that Easy Stroll repeats as I most viewed on Fine Art America during the 1st week of February. The painting itself reminds me of both stories she’s told me of her year long stay in the jungles of Columbia back before I’d met her, and of the few small Mexican villages my family and I visited when I was a child.

Though thoroughly unintended, this abstract to me, came out very much like a portrait of a village!

I also mentioned several other unique things about this painting last week, when Easy Stroll 1st appeared as my most viewed for a particular week, and I’ve even decided and very recently included it in my application the Austin’s “People’s Gallery” year long show at City Hall for this year ( 2022 ). Hopefully get some news of that application late this month or early next, not sure of the notification dates.

Here’s my one-liner ( some are longer, some shorter, in my Fine Art America descriptions I like to use now for my newer work ) for Easy Stroll —

Shawled figures, peering totems of times past, a village extant, immune from time, no longer waiting for the sense of peace to pass, now – accepting it, welcoming the blessings.

I hope you’ll take a closer look on my Fine Art America site page, and please use the free full resolution preview option by tapping anywhere on the image.

The preview image, when shown, for Easy Stroll, reads — “This is a full-resolution preview of the 5201 x 6500 image.”
