February 25, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink with Maroon Landscape and Bird

Second of two 10×20 inch acrylic color fields I’m listing on Creative Arts Society’s Spring Online Market ( begins March 01, 2022 ), Pink with Maroon Landscape joins my 1st selection, Blue with Gold Twilight.

Both should be easier to ship if sold, and sold to a buyer outside the Austin area. Neither is offered framed, and both are textured acrylic on canvas.

I was actually quite surprised how much I like creating these small panoramas, esp after working on the slighter larger, similar, but heavier 12×24 inch gallery wrapped color field panoramas.

I’ve mentioned it before, but worth repeating to remind myself, I really do seem to have an affinity for this 2:1 surface size ratio. I like all my canvas sizes in differing ways and for differing projects, but the horizontal flow especially seems to lend itself to varying degress of flow – sometimes flawlessly, sometimes haltingly yet arresting and catching my attention in its own uniique ways – both flow patterns often surprising me with what appears. Pink with Maroon Landscape and Bird was not an exception 😊 💕
