May 05, 2022 – New 22×28 Inch #Acrylic #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – “Spring Rising”
At 22×28 inches, canvas on stretcher bars, Spring Rising is one of my relatively larger abstract works so far, not counting my multi-canvas panel abstracts, or polyptychs as I’ve found out they’re also called.

April 12, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic #FigureArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Neon Lady
16×20, acrylic on stretched canvas, here shown framed, Neon Lady, a work started late last year ( 2021 ) took me awhile to refine the edges of the figure, then develop / decide the colors expanding outward toward the edges.

March 11, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Turquoise Impressionist Abstract 1
I love this color between blue and green, and am so glad I finally produced a fairly colorful ( considering the general monotone ) rendition with “lots” of density and textural variation.

February 25, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink with Maroon Landscape and Bird
Second of two 10×20 inch acrylic color fields I’m listing on Creative Arts Society’s Spring Online Market ( begins March 01, 2022 ), Pink with Maroon Landscape joins my 1st selection, Blue with Gold Twilight. Both should be easier to ship if sold, and sold to a buyer outside the Austin area. Neither is offered…

February 23, 2022 – New 24×36 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #LyricalAbstract Upload @FineArtAmerica – Scenic Pink with Yellow
I look at this image, of a new 2×3 foot size color field, knowing how large it looks and feels, even at this relatively medium size, and realize maybe I need some size perspective shots, like with me holding or beside the painting.

February 19, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Blue with Gold Twilight
Typically I don’t post back to back about my new Fine Art America uploads, but Blue with Gold Twilight, besides being one of my better efforts, lol! is also part of a group of 3 paintings I’ve recently submitted to Creative Art Society here in Austin for their Online Market.

February 18, 2022 – New 24×36 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink Cosmic Tunnel
My newest upload to Fine Art America, Pink Cosmic Tunnel, is part of the Pink series within my larger series of heavy texture color field acrylics. Below is my 1-liner description on my product page at Fine Art America —

February 15, 2022 – New 18×24 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink Vortex
I’ve expected to do variations of colors I liked and find them interesting how similar and yet also how different, when the paint is dry and the textures are set, they might end up to be.

January 27, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Easy Stroll
A vertical abstract I absolutely had no idea would contain so many potential figures and landscape features! Positively must be my sub-conscious at work, esp considering I didn’t even become aware of the potential imagery til I observed the work from….

January 24, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink Impressionist Abstract 1
My newest panoramic impressionist abstract color block on a 12×24 gallery wrapped canvas is – Pink! 😊 And my one line description for this art work on it’s page at Fine Art America reads —

January 22, 2022 – Rethinking (re-engineering?) How I Post About Images I Upload to #FineArtAmerica
My most emerging challenge as I ramp up being able to and wanting to paint more often – each day if possible – is time. Not a big surprise for all the folks with lots of interests and/or commitments, even for us 70+ year olds, lol! Though, surprisingly, just as difficult to navigate the demands…
-
January 21, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Healthy Vines Happy Hearts
A relatively simple work with a slightly more complex arrangement of paint application than my usual. That’s a mouthful, lol! But pretty accurate in term of my process! 😊 First, I laid in a faint yellow base, a mix of watercolor and acrylic. Next I laid over a….

January 15, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Blue Impressionist Abstract 1
Third of my 3 uploaded acrylic color blocks, each 12×24 inches on gallery wrapped canvas, Blue gives me a triad of sorts, the other two paintings being red and yellow. A link to related blog posts is – https://felipeadanlerma.com/?s=Impressionist+abstract I’ve always like panoramas, even in my….

January 08, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Fantasy Landscape
This is one of those works I didn’t “see” the landscape til I saw it from another room, lol! But I’d immediately liked the colors and sway of texture, and though it’s kinda rough is spots, it’s part of what makes it work I think. Usually I’ll hold a very new work like this for…

December 22, 2021 – New 6×6 Inch #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Mesa Verde in the Beginning
I’ve just recently begun letting myself acrylic-free-wheel experiment on what I 1st began experimenting with my watercolors on, little 6×6 inch gallery wrapped canvases, much like my recent post on another painting from this same new batch – The Smile in the Moon . Mesa Verde in the Beginning is much more abstract, and the…

November 12, 2021 – New #Acrylic #Watercolor Upload @FineArtAmerica – Walking in Light
Back near mid-October I posted about beginning a couple of new projects and featured my initial layin image below-left. The simple shift to the final image is a bit deceiving, as both the foreground and background had more of the intense coloring, some of which came off when I removed the masking fluid I’d applied.…

November 05, 2021 – New #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Dance
An exuberant slash of color and shape swimming with colors and shapes, Dance is a new acrylic abstract I last worked on nearly a month ago in early October. I let it sit, hang on the wall, lean in a corner; recently wired and framed it, and never saw what my wife says she’s seen…

October 23, 2021 – New #Acrylic Upload @FineArtAmerica – Mother and Child
It’s been quite a development for this painting, growing from an idea of a previous work with a less defined at the time unrealized depiction of a younger and older person. Probably the most important development is my own realization of that development, lol! Frankly, though I often saw a realization-glimpse of that sort even…

July 03, 2021 – When is a Title a Gimmick and When is it Just Right? Example: Summer is a Lady
Those who may be new to my site here may be asking, “so what’s the gimmick in that title?” 😊 Those who do frequent my site will probably recall this work below, Spring is a Lady —

February 23, 2021 – Texas Hill Country November – circa 2021 Watercolor – Adan’s PhotoPoems
Though an abstract, I think one of the things I like best about Texas Hill Country November, is it captures a little of the sense of the authentic the Texas landscaped outside….

Ridges of Spring Light – New 6×6 Watercolor Acrylic Upload on Fine Art America
“It was my 2nd almost literally stab at slipping watercolor onto one of my new absorbent ground 6×6 inch canvases. My 1st try, Bird’s Eye View (now sold), was more cautious, although that’s relatively speaking, lol!”

Bird’s Eye View circa 2020 Watercolor-Acrylic ❤️ Adan’s PhotoPoems 💕
My Bird’s Eye View buyer in Florida told me, once they saw the original painting, that the feeling “happiness” came to them. In tribute to this wonderful unexpected and deeply appreciated gift of thought, I’ve written this small PhotoPoem for my painting ❤️
