May 05, 2022 – New 22×28 Inch #Acrylic #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – “Spring Rising”
At 22×28 inches, canvas on stretcher bars, Spring Rising is one of my relatively larger abstract works so far, not counting my multi-canvas panel abstracts, or polyptychs as I’ve found out they’re also called.

April 12, 2022 – New 16×20 Inch #Acrylic #FigureArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Neon Lady
16×20, acrylic on stretched canvas, here shown framed, Neon Lady, a work started late last year ( 2021 ) took me awhile to refine the edges of the figure, then develop / decide the colors expanding outward toward the edges.

March 11, 2022 – New 12×24 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Turquoise Impressionist Abstract 1
I love this color between blue and green, and am so glad I finally produced a fairly colorful ( considering the general monotone ) rendition with “lots” of density and textural variation.

February 25, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Pink with Maroon Landscape and Bird
Second of two 10×20 inch acrylic color fields I’m listing on Creative Arts Society’s Spring Online Market ( begins March 01, 2022 ), Pink with Maroon Landscape joins my 1st selection, Blue with Gold Twilight. Both should be easier to ship if sold, and sold to a buyer outside the Austin area. Neither is offered…

February 23, 2022 – New 24×36 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #LyricalAbstract Upload @FineArtAmerica – Scenic Pink with Yellow
I look at this image, of a new 2×3 foot size color field, knowing how large it looks and feels, even at this relatively medium size, and realize maybe I need some size perspective shots, like with me holding or beside the painting.

February 19, 2022 – New 10×20 Inch #Acrylic #PaletteKnife #AbstractArt Upload @FineArtAmerica – Blue with Gold Twilight
Typically I don’t post back to back about my new Fine Art America uploads, but Blue with Gold Twilight, besides being one of my better efforts, lol! is also part of a group of 3 paintings I’ve recently submitted to Creative Art Society here in Austin for their Online Market.

August 10, 2021 – My Newest Art Upload @FineArtAmerica – Testing the Water (Acrylic on Canvas)
Several things went into making this one of my favored positive-surprise results: 1. Golden’s Light Molding Paste, which itself allowed several things a. creation of a descriptive molding directing movement and form b. an absorption surface that allowed my use of watered down acrylics which gave me my currently-favored look – watercolors c. and least…

July 14, 2021 – Creating New Version Variations on My Barton Springs Greenbelt Austin Poster Template via the Creation of Just One New Painting, Part 4, Finished Watercolor
Though not markedly different, my final watercolor rendition for Barton Springs Greenbelt Poster Version 2 has slightly more blue, a gentle easing of some of the edges from Dappled, when I’d removed the masking fluid I’d 1st applied before painting, and an overall flow with clarity I really like! 😊

July 09, 2021 – Creating New Version Variations on My Barton Springs Greenbelt Austin Poster Template via the Creation of Just One New Painting, Part 3, Dappled
The changes from Pale Blue to Lush are easy to see, but those from Lush to Dappled aren’t quite as apparent, the latter two being much closer in their final renditions…Again, as I’ve written in the series’ previous posts, I’m determined to see how an actual work changes, evolves (or not), vs starting a new…

July 07, 2021 – Creating New Version Variations on My Barton Springs Greenbelt Austin Poster Template via the Creation of Just One New Painting, Part 2, Lush
Part 1 in this series goes into more detail of the “why” of doing multiple visual keepers of the differing stages of creating Barton Springs Greenbelt Version 2 ( Version 1’s creation being detailed here ) with each keeper variation of version not only uploaded to Fine Art America (FAA) for prints & gifts, but…

July 06, 2021 – Creating New Version Variations on My Barton Springs Greenbelt Austin Poster Template via the Creation of Just One New Painting, Part 1, Pale Blue
Creating new uploaded-for-prints & gifts versions, from the same ongoing painted image, arose as an idea because of many reasons – both exploratory & practical…Though it might seem it very unpractical not to begin a new painting for each version variation, I’ve found I get too derailed; often off-track from my initial purpose.

June 24, 2021 – My New Upload @FineArtAmerica – Barton Springs Greenbelt Austin Texas Poster
Finally finished my line art watercolor poster via my Austin Barton Creek Greenbelt photo, and, uploaded it to Fine Art America…It was quite a learning process for me that, though derailed for a bit with chores etc, finally felt finished!

Adan’s Newest Art Upload to Fine Art America – Paris Dreams (Watercolor on Absorbent Ground) Uploaded 12.11.20
Paris Dreams is an early result of beginning with a color that appealed to how I felt that day, violet, applied abstractly, then give another stab at developing a figure.
