Only the colorful cows on canvases, t-shirts, and life size embellished sculptures reminded him of Texas, but not of his own art.

”I didn’t grow up here,” he told Rosetta, sipping his coffee. “I mean, it’s too different. I like it, a lot! But it’s like the land won’t stand still long enough for me.”

Rosetta seemed to pause in her listening, sat her teas down, turned toward Arturo who was now enjoying a muffin, and said, “Take a picture.”
