Why I’m doing this, creating a permanent page or post on my site with listings of my art for sale, when I have sorta the same thing on Fine Art America, is an answer with many components, all of which dovetail into one main thing — time ♥️
There’s a moving list of the reasons, and some days any one or the other of the reasons is “the most important” lol!
But if I had to choose the propelling reason that’s pushed all the other reasons into joining it into prompting me to finally do this, it’s simple —
I am happily producing more art than I can digitally format, describe and upload to Fine Art America to sell and, at the same time, keep pace with producing art as I want to and am at this time.
Adan, December 2021
ie, I’m now in a peak of production creativity similar to my creativity in the early 1980s and 2000s.
That’s a good problem ♥️
Creating the image listings
Unfortunately, formatting a paintings gallery page, based on my initial attempts here on WordPress, is gonna be a bit of a learning curve for me, lol! Especially considering the number of styles and individual works I have over the last 40+ years. Another good problem, yes, but something needing solving 😊
For now, starting with a few listings and adding to them incrementally to my site here, then, even more incrementally, to Fine Art America. I’d definitely like to have them listed both locations if that works out.
I think the image portion will take the shape and look of this below (though I’m not sure how they’ll be listed; probably multiple pages with my landing page as a jumping point; as is the case with my regular posts) —

Sample listings below, even if potentially in a smaller visual format, we’ll see 😊 —

My Most Immediate Tentative Plan For Now
What I will probably do, for now, is create a general page or post, with a format like above (posts can be converted to pages in WordPress, but I need to research that more), with samples of the styles of paintings from different decades of my work, with a link then to more detailed pages for each grouping or style.
The general page/post can be “anchored” to the top of my landing page, so that’d be good.
I think I should start with a sample of various styles of current work ( abstract, figurative etc) so I can more easily and immediately create and link to the more detailed pages/posts for each type of work.

Pricing My Art
Pricing is another problem, since it would reflect work sold through all kinds of venues – galleries, artist clubs ( Creative Arts Society, etc), public sponsored artist venues ( the Old Bakery & Emporium, ie, run by City of Austin ), online (Fine Art America) & even festivals — and I’d like one price for each item covering all outlets.

But I wanted to be an artist, I can hear my guardian angel say, lol! So that’s where I’m at ❤️
Take care everyone! Things are getting dicey again, virus-wise. Be safe, have fun!
And may we all juggle all of that successfully! 💕

Thanks! It’s a slow motion effort both cause I’m not sure how to proceed, plus my number of images, lol! I’m leaning to list sample categories, ie, watercolor, acrylic, figures etc then link the sample set to a gallery of all those type paintings on FAA; we’ll see 😊 Happy holidays, Tiffany! 🙏☺️
