No mere change-out, I swapped out most ( but not all ) of my originals and brought in a stack of 6×9 original acrylic and watercolor hearts.
The best way for me to package the latter was to place the on-paper hearts in 8×10 sleeves with an acid-free backing. I did well with these last year at Buda Mercantile before it closed to become something else and hope to do even better this year – we’ll see 🙏😊
The light, bright abstract lower left above, Fantasy Landscape, which I only uploaded to Fine Art America on the 4th a few days ago, is already getting lots of views.
Whether this will all translate to sales at the Old Bakery, or anywhere else they would otherwise be here in Austin right now, is very hard to say. University of Texas Austin is already going to 2 weeks virtual to start the spring semester ( 2022 ), and I’m sure there’ll be lots of related stuff like that, including the Old Bakery, going a similar pattern.
If so, it’s for the best. Health and care are priorities right now. And not just for ( kinda ) old folk like me, lol!
Let’s us do the best we can, taking care of ourselves and those we love, being considerate of all, and get through this recurring, unfortunately-amazingly resourceful virus 💕
