About my “Adan’s Images” Series
I’ve struggled for quite awhile to come up with a means or routine that’d let me present my work, especially all the photos and paintings I’ve uploaded @FineArtAmerica (FAA) since early 2016.
We’ll see how this works out, lol 😊
Starting with my oldest work I’d uploaded onto FAA, I‘ll be progressing through each image. Some images, like my 1st to be presented this way, Austin at Night, have variations. Sometimes a poster version or a vertical, a crop or macro, or even a digital or painting version.
When that’s the case I’ll present them all together. They’re parts or whole of the same image.
When the image is available as a whole, photo or painting, but is used as the background for a gift writing, like Step Mom, I’ll present the gift writing on its own, but link to it from the image’s presentation.

About – Rolling Hill Country

https://fineartamerica.com/featured/rolling-hill-country-felipe-adan-lerma.html
I’d never been much west of San Antonio my whole life in Texas, ‘cept to drive through West Texas to get somewhere west-west, like the Grand Canyon or to the Pacific 😊
It’s late January 2004, there’s not much happening in Austin, at least in terms of new visual interest for photography & art, so my wife and I decide to take advantage of taking a small photo for an art show near Ingram, a little west of Kerrville, and we head west towards Lost Maples.
Fall colors’d disappeared months before, but so had the bus loads of tourists.
This featured image, Rolling Hill Country, # 4 of my Adan’s Images series of photos and paintings and digital designs posted to Fine Art America, was captured only a short distance from the park (actually a “natural area”; where we had no trouble parking & exploring).
I did stop along the side of the road, hardly a vehicle passing by, wondering what it must have been like crossing this land hundreds of years ago, no fences, wild life abundant, probably hardly a trail, must less a road. The land itself is still there though, and still receiving sunrises and sunsets. And, the wonderment of passing people like me 💕
Further below in this post are a few more of my Hill Country images I’ve posted over the years onto Fine Art America. With time, I hope to include a few more 🙏

I do like to point out I pick my selections to showcase from my Amazon searches. May not always be the case, or wholly always the case, but for now, I prefer picking titles and book covers and gift items that just really appeal to me. There’s lots more to choose from, but only have so much room, lol! I hope you enjoy —

I love your pictures – what type of camera are you using?

Laureen, thanks so much! The Hill Country has so much to offer, am hoping since we moved much further south in Austin we can catch a few visits there 😊 I had to check to see what camera my image app (Affinity Photo) showed I was using back in 2004 & looks like it was a Nikon compact, much like my current Cannon compact (https://amzn.to/35fwkps). I tried to go w/another Nikon when the old one wore out, but didn’t like the feel of it as much. My current Cannon has a one inch sensor & takes even better pics! Thanks again so much for stopping by 😊
