Yesterday was a small but significant day in our move-prep days, I took down the remainder of our paintings and pictures from the walls.
Some of the areas, like one of the hallways, is even more desolate-looking afterward, lol! But I forgot to take a “pre” pic 😊
And If a picture can say a thousand words, the “after pics” should include “and the use of a thousand calories” lol!
Here’s another with “some” of the pics still up —

And then after —
Stark!
But, we are very much looking forward to placing them back up in our new place late next week ♥️ Including places like Zilker Botanical Garden!
Stay well everyone! Enjoy what one can, relish what one can – it’s worth it!
Often enough anyway 😊

Ahh, moving! I’ve done it so many times, and it’s always a chore, but it’s also exciting to get to make the new place home again! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!☺

Loved the idea of keeping a documented account of something as important and transcendent as a move. Makes me think that a few years ago when we moved back to Spain I lost that opportunity, though the images of every step we took are etched in my mind. Best of luck Felipe and I wish you and your wife many many years of happiness in your new home 🏠,
FBC.

Oh wow, yes, that must’ve been a super move, Francisco! Thank you, we’re hoping this new location’ll not only bring us closer to more family to visit, but places nearby with parks like Zilker Botanical Garden ♥️

Them and me, lol! It’ll be interesting where and how they’ll go up, esp since this’ll be a smaller space overall; a few might have to hibernate in storage for a bit 😊

Oh goodness, just barely, lol! Today is our 1st full day not going back to the old place cleaning or packing straggler stuff 😊 Now I’m taking a few minutes to check on past msgs, so glad I saw your reply, thank you! 😊
